A tandem paragliding flight in Tenerife costs between €110 and €155 in 2026 at Touch The Sky, and the market as a whole sits somewhere between €100 and €200. The range isn't about luxury — it's about altitude, duration, and what kind of flight you actually want.
The real price range in 2026
Entry-level tandems — fifteen to twenty minutes, gentle air, one takeoff, one landing — sit around €100 to €115. Our Calm & Smooth flight is €110 and belongs in this bracket.
Mid-range tandems — twenty to thirty minutes, more altitude, often some instruction — sit around €125 to €140. Our Instructional Flight at €125 and our Premium Experience at €135 are in this tier.
Longer or cross-country tandems — thirty to forty-five minutes, genuine thermal work, pilots who actually know where they are going — sit at €150 to €200. Our Pro XC at €155 is on the lower end because we fly from our home sites and don't pay a premium for logistics.
What is included (and what is not)
Three things should always be in the base price: transport to and from the takeoff, all flying equipment (wing, harness, helmet, reserve), and a safety briefing. If any of those is an upsell, the operator is outside the professional norm.
Photo and video coverage is where the market splits. Some operators bundle it into a higher base price. Some charge extra at booking. Some charge extra on landing, once you are already sitting on the beach and feel unable to refuse.
We charge thirty euros for a full photo and video package, disclosed on the booking page before you pay. No on-landing surprises. If you book and change your mind about the media, you can add or remove it freely.
Why "cheap" flights often cost more in the end
Every market has €89 operators. There is a reason for the number, and it is rarely in your favour.
Ways the short number becomes a long one: the flight is shorter than advertised because takeoff had to be rushed. The briefing gets cut in half because three groups are waiting. Hotel pickup is extra. The photos they show you on landing are €40 each, non-negotiable. The tip is implied and uncomfortable to refuse.
None of this means cheap operators are scams. It means the €89 becomes €130 by the time you reach your hotel — and you paid for a rushed flight. If €110 for a calm, relaxed, twenty-minute flight with everything transparent sounds more like what you wanted in the first place, the cheaper option was never actually cheaper.
Group bookings and family pricing
Most operators will shave something off the sticker price when three or more of you fly together. Booking together as a group — same slot, same vehicle up the mountain, same landing beach, same photos on the same link — simplifies the day considerably. If you are travelling as a family or a group, ask us about booking everyone into the same slot.
What actually helps most: booking the same slot together. Same pickup time, same vehicle up the mountain, same landing beach, same photos on the same link. If you are travelling as a family, let us know when booking.
When to book: prices are fixed, availability is not
Unlike hotels, paragliding prices in Tenerife don't swing with the season. A flight is a flight; the operator's costs are the same in January and in July. The one common exception is longer experiential products — our Full Day Experience goes up for July and August because of peak-season demand, but tandem flight prices are stable year-round.
What does move with season is availability. Mid-week in February, you can book a slot the day before. Saturday in August, three days ahead is tight. The rule of thumb: five days ahead in summer, two days ahead in winter, always possible to be lucky.
Is it worth it compared to other Tenerife activities?
A comparison most reviews skip. Comparable adventure activities on the south coast — jet ski sessions, catamaran trips, introductory scuba dives — run anywhere from €50 to €120 and typically give you a few minutes of the main event inside a longer experience.
A tandem paraglider flight in Tenerife, at the Calm & Smooth price of €110, gives you fifteen to twenty minutes of a thing you cannot do any other way on the island. The Instructional Flight at €125 gives you something you cannot do anywhere else in Tenerife, full stop — you actually fly the glider yourself.
By the honest metric of unusualness per euro, paragliding is one of the better-value activities on the south coast.
The four TTS flights, at a glance
Calm & Smooth — €110, fifteen to twenty minutes, our gentlest air for first-timers.
Instructional Flight — €125, fifteen to twenty minutes, the only tandem in Tenerife where the passenger learns to fly under supervision.
Premium Experience — €135, twenty to thirty minutes, more altitude and more time in the sky.
Pro XC — €155, thirty to forty-five minutes, thermal flying with a pilot who treats each flight as a small cross-country.
The honest question isn't what a flight costs. It is what the price is actually buying.
