Where we fly from

Two of Europe's best takeoff sites · 30 minutes from Costa Adeje

Common questions

Where do you take off for paragliding in Tenerife?

We take off from Taucho (800 m) and Ifonche (1,100 m), two ridges above Costa Adeje in southern Tenerife. Both sit about 30 minutes by road above the resort area, and we drive you up in our van as part of the flight.

How do you get up to the launch?

We collect you and drive you up in our own van, no hire car or 4x4 needed. The road is paved almost all the way, and the transfer up is included in the price of every flight.

Which is better, Taucho or Ifonche?

Neither is simply the better choice, they suit different days. Taucho (800 m) is our most-used site and works across a wide range of conditions; Ifonche (1,100 m) is higher and gives longer glides when the wind is right. Your pilot chooses the site on the day, so you always fly whichever is flying best.

How high do you fly in Tenerife?

Takeoff is at 800 m (Taucho) or 1,100 m (Ifonche). From there the flight follows the ridge down to the coast at Playa de Enramada, and on a good thermic day the lift keeps you up longer. That height and the steady Atlantic thermals are why flights here last longer than a typical tandem.
