Touch The Sky

SafePro Paragliding School

Learn to fly — while the rest of Europe learns to ski.

Twenty-one days. SafePro Level 3 certification. Three weeks of paragliding in Tenerife, where the flying season runs 300+ days a year.

Why winter in Tenerife

Ski schools send students into -10°C snow. We teach thermal flying in 22°C sunshine.

Tenerife averages 300+ flyable days per year, with a stable microclimate in the south that makes it the single best place in Europe to learn paragliding in winter.

Our School runs 21-day intensive bootcamps designed to take a complete beginner to SafePro Level 3 — the first three international certification stages — in three weeks. After that, you keep flying with us under supervision to earn SafePro Level 4 (full pilot license) over two to twelve months, depending on your pace.

You'll finish a bootcamp able to inflate, run, launch, control, and land a paraglider solo. From there, you're a pilot in training.

The certification

SafePro: the European standard, recognised worldwide.

We teach the SafePro system, developed in Europe and recognised internationally. SafePro and BHPA certifications are accepted across Europe, the UK and most of the world. You finish our bootcamp with SafePro Level 3 — a real credential that lets you fly under instructor supervision anywhere.

Three weeks, three stages

How the bootcamp runs

Twenty-one days built for progression. Each week deepens what the last one opened.

  1. 01

    Ground school + first flights

Days 1-3: theory — meteorology, equipment, airspace, safety. Days 4-7: ground handling intensive, then your first small-hill flights.

  2. 02

    High-altitude flights

Days 8-14: progressive flights from Taucho and Ifonche. Altitude gain, air discipline, wing control across the full 700-1,000 m range.

  3. 03

    SafePro 3 qualification

Days 15-19: cross-country basics, thermalling introduction, emergency procedures. Days 20-21: written and practical exam, certification.

Your journey

From the ground to your licence in 3 weeks

  1. Day 1

    Ground handling

You learn to control the wing on flat ground. No altitude, no pressure — just you and the glider.

  2. Days 3–5

    First hops

Short flights on gentle slopes. The first time the ground disappears beneath your feet.

  3. Week 2

    Solo flights from Taucho

You fly independently from 600m. Toni follows from the ground with a radio — but every decision is yours.

  4. Week 3

    Thermals & theory exam

Cross-country navigation, thermal flying introduction, written theory, and practical assessment.

  5. Final day

    SafePro P2 licence

You leave with your official licence. Recognised across Europe. Ready to fly any certified site.

What our students say

I came with zero experience and left with my P2. Toni's teaching style is calm, methodical, and genuinely passionate. By week three I was flying solo from Taucho — something I never thought possible.

Markus B.

Germany · Complete beginner

The three weeks in Tenerife were transformative. Not just the flying — the weather window, the sites, the daily briefings. I've done courses in Austria and France. This was the best.

Sophie L.

France · Previous ground school

Toni is honest about your progress in a way most instructors aren't. If you're not ready to move on, he says so. That rigour is why I trust my licence. Best investment I've made in a sport.

James R.

United Kingdom · Complete beginner
