Tenerife averages 300+ flyable days per year, with a stable microclimate in the south that makes it the single best place in Europe to learn paragliding in winter.
Our School runs 21-day intensive bootcamps designed to take a complete beginner to SafePro Level 3, the first three international certification stages, in three weeks. After that, you keep flying with us under supervision to earn SafePro Level 4 (full pilot licence) over two to twelve months, depending on your pace.
You'll finish a bootcamp able to inflate, run, launch, control, and land a paraglider solo. From there, you're a pilot in training.

How the bootcamp runs
Twenty-one days built for progression. Each week deepens what the last one opened.
01
Ground school + first flights
Days 1-3: theory, meteorology, equipment, airspace, safety. Days 4-7: ground handling intensive, then your first small-hill flights.

High-altitude flights
Days 8-14: progressive flights from Taucho and Ifonche. Altitude gain, air discipline, wing control across the full 700-1,000 m range.
03
SafePro 3 qualification
Days 15-19: cross-country basics, thermalling introduction, emergency procedures. Days 20-21: written and practical exam, certification.
Your journey
From the ground to your licence in 3 weeks
Day 1
Ground handling
You learn to control the wing on flat ground. No altitude, no pressure, just you and the glider.
Days 3–5
First hops
Short flights on gentle slopes. The first time the ground disappears beneath your feet.
Week 2
Solo flights from Taucho
You fly independently from 600m. Tony follows from the ground with a radio, but every decision is yours.
Week 3
Thermals & theory exam
Cross-country navigation, thermal flying introduction, written theory, and practical assessment.
Final day
SafePro P2 licence
You leave with your official licence. Recognised across Europe. Ready to fly any certified site.

Winter peak is the season this school is designed for, highest demand, most stable flying. Low season is also fully viable; we simply run fewer sessions.

SafePro course questions
Do I need any experience to join the course?
No. The bootcamp is built for complete beginners. In 21 days it takes you from ground school to SafePro Level 3: able to inflate, launch, control and land a paraglider solo. If you have flown tandem or done some ground handling, you will simply progress faster.
What certification do I finish with, and is it recognised abroad?
You finish with SafePro Level 3, the European system recognised across Europe, the UK and most of the world, which lets you fly under instructor supervision anywhere. You can then continue with us to reach SafePro Level 4 (full pilot licence) over two to twelve months, at your own pace.
What is included in the price, and what is not?
Included: all theory (15+ hours), all flight equipment (glider, harness, helmet, radio), transport to every takeoff, accommodation arranged locally in Costa Adeje, two instructors, and SafePro Level 3 certification on passing the exam. Not included: flights to Tenerife, food, and personal insurance, for which a current policy is required.
What is the deposit and cancellation policy?
Enrolment is by conversation, and course payment is arranged directly with us, not through the website checkout. A €400 deposit reserves your place, and the balance is due 14 days before the course starts, once the session is confirmed to run. Cancel more than 30 days before the start and you receive a full refund, deposit included. Between 14 and 30 days, the deposit becomes a credit toward a future session and any balance already paid is refunded. Less than 14 days before the start, half the course price is non-refundable, since accommodation and instructors are already committed. If we cancel a session, for example with fewer than five students or in a case of force majeure, you choose a full refund or a free transfer to the next session. No-shows, and courses left partway, are not refunded.
What happens if the weather does not allow flying on some days?
South Tenerife averages 25 or more flyable days a month in winter, so lost days are rare. When a day is unflyable we use it for theory, ground handling and safety work, and keep your progression on track across the three weeks.
How fit do I need to be, and is there a weight limit?
You need to be reasonably mobile, since you will carry a wing and take a few running steps on launch, but no special athletic ability is needed. We fly pilots up to 110 kg and have harnesses from XS to XL.
Is there a minimum age to join the course?
Yes. You must be at least 16 to train with us, and anyone under 18 needs written consent from a parent or guardian. There is no upper age limit, as long as you are reasonably mobile and medically fit to fly.
When do bootcamps run, and how do I enrol?
Sessions run roughly every two months once at least five students are confirmed, year-round, with the most stable flying from December to March. Enrolment is by conversation: send the form and Tony replies personally, usually within 24 hours.
