Learn to fly
The only tandem paragliding flight in Tenerife built around instruction. During 15–20 minutes in the air, your certified instructor guides you through the same introduction format used in SafePro paragliding schools: feel the brakes, learn to read the air, understand weight-shift steering — all under direct professional supervision. Your first real step before a full pilot course.
Focused, empowering, unforgettable.
The experience
The only tandem paragliding flight in Tenerife designed as a teaching experience. Your pilot — every one of our pilots is also a licensed instructor — provides clear, step-by-step explanations during the 15 to 20 minute flight, then puts the steering toggles in your hands for a supervised familiarisation under continuous instructor control. This is the same format used in professional paragliding schools for student introduction flights. Ideal for anyone considering a future pilot course or anyone who wants more than a passive ride.
The first ten minutes are a lesson. Your instructor names what you are feeling before you feel it: the lift as the wing passes through a thermal, the slow swing of the harness as the glider responds to a weight shift, the changing note of the air against the lines. When the familiarisation window comes, you are not thrown into it — you have already been briefed on how the toggles translate pressure into direction, and every input you make is mirrored and corrected by the instructor in real time. This is what your first day at a paragliding school would look like. Most instructional passengers say the same thing afterwards: the flight felt shorter than they expected, because they were focused on learning rather than on not being scared.
You take off from Taucho, at 1,050 metres, on the south slope of the Adeje mountains. This is one of the most consistent thermal sites in Europe — the reason this island hosts paragliding schools year-round. As the instructor guides you through the first minutes of the flight, you are looking at exactly what a pilot sees: the ridge to your left that generates lift, the coastal sea breeze that draws the air upward along the mountain face, the landing zone at Playa de Enramada that you will return to. The Barranco del Infierno gorge is under your right foot. La Gomera rises out of the Atlantic to the west. By the time you touch down, you will understand why paragliding here is different from paragliding anywhere else in Europe — and you will have a piece of the method that makes it work.
